Adults with Down syndrome

Provides college scholarships for students with Down syndrome, spreading awareness of their capabilities, and supporting their dreams of higher education and independence.

Provides searchable online tools to identify RID certified interpreters, RID members, interpreter training programs, interpreter agencies or professional development opportunities.

Provides up-to-date information, support, and services for families and education,  materials, and resources about newborn screening at the local, state, and national levels.  

Services Include:

Individuals who are blind or visually impaired, their families, friends, doctors, caregivers, and anyone who works with blind or visually impaired individuals.

Non-medical information on blindness, and referrals to various sources of help, state services for the blind, and state libraries for the blind.

Resources: Offers a variety of resources, including Job Connection, Blind/Low Vision resources, peer support, and more

Scholarships: Scholarships for freshman, undergraduate, and graduate students. To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants need to be legally blind, maintain a 3.0 GPA to be eligible for most scholarships, be a full-time student (as well as students who work 32 or more hours per week and attend college part time), and be involved in their school/local community.

Provides referral services for families to hospice and home care services for children.

Children and teens 18 and younger.

Through USDA's summer meal programs, approved sites in communities across the country can serve meals to kids up to age 18 at no cost. Families can use this tool to find directions to nearby meal sites, as well as their hours of operation and contact information.

Families seeking food assistance for their children can also contact The USDA National Hunger Hotline, operated by Hunger Free America.

Transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals in need of support.

Provides support to families of children with mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS) and mucolipidosis (ML) diseases through education, fundraising assistance for medical expense assistance, resource guides, and advocacy.

Children 22 and under.

Provides pediatric primary and specialty care including outpatient clinics, two emergency rooms, ambulatory surgery center, and acute care hospital.

Operating a 24/7 text, phone, and live chat service. Offers education, support and advocacy to those involved in dating abuse relationships as well as concerned friends and family. Website also offers information on dating basics, healthy relationships, types of abuse, and how to get help for yourself or someone else.

People with questions regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

Provides vital peer-support, community connections and resource information to people with questions regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

Senior citizens and individuals with disabilities who receive pensions or social security income.

Provides legal representation for the purpose of communicating with debt collectors. Collection calls and letters go to the main office. If tax debt or student loans are an issue, will work with government agencies to achieve zero payment programs or uncollectible status. No eligible person is turned away.

Sex trafficking victims. Shelter for ages 11 to 17 only.

Child sexual exploitation/sex trafficking hotline and services.

A call center which provides information to health care professionals and the public related to possible poisoning emergencies.

Victims of sexual violence nationwide

Created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country.

Provides support for sexual assault victims and their loved ones through a 24/7 hotline and website.

Offers access to affordable medications through a mail order pharmacy for low income individuals and families.

Open to all who have lost a baby

Provides 24/7 crisis counseling line for anyone who has lost a baby. Grief support for those who have suffered a loss due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and other sleep-related infant deaths and stillbirth.
