Services Provided: URLEND is part of a Maternal Child Health Bureau Grant, one of 43 unique LEND programs in 37 states. Utah Regional LEND is a long-term graduate training program covering five states: Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and North Dakota. This program uses state-of-the-art technology to connect groups of trainees. As future leaders, URLEND participants are trained to move beyond discipline boundaries to provide optimal treatment to children and adolescents with special health care needs. Because families are essential to wellbeing, this program emphasizes the role of family-centered care.
