Eligibility: People with physical, cognitive or visual disabilities who are functionally unable to independently use the UTA fixed route bus service either all of the time, temporarily or only under certain circumstances. To be considered for paratransit service, riders must appear for an in-person interview and an abilities assessment. Temporary disabilities may require doctor's note.
Services Provided: UTA's Paratransit Service ADA Program is a transportation service (from Brigham City to Payson) for people with physical, cognitive or visual disabilities who are functionally unable to independently use the UTA fixed route bus service either all the time, temporarily, or under certain circumstances. Registered Paratransit riders may schedule trips with a pick-up or drop-off point within three-quarters of a mile boundary of a regular local fixed bus route or light rail station. Passes available for purchase at various locations in the valley.
