Eligibility: Students must be age 3 - 5 years old, live in the school district boundaries, and be eligible through IDEA disability requirements.
Services Provided: The At Risk/Special Education Department provides specialized instruction and related services to eligible Murray students as defined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in the following disability categories:
• Autism
• Communication Disorders (Speech/Language Impairment)
• Deaf Blindness
• Developmental Delay
• Emotional Disturbance
• Hearing Impairment/Deafness
• Intellectual Disability
• Multiple Disabilities
• Orthopedic Impairment
• Other Health Impairment
• Specific Learning Disabilities
• Traumatic Brain Injury
• Visual Impairment
Murray School District Assistive Technology (AT) Team is dedicated to improving the communication and learning skills of students with disabilities who have an IEP or 504. Our Team consists of one Speech-Language Pathologist, one Occupational Therapist, two Special Education Teachers, and one Para-educator. We volunteer to assess, train, and consult with Assistive Technology, in addition to our regular teaching responsibilities, usually on the first and third Tuesday of each month. We do not provide ongoing services or therapy.

The Murray Assistive Technology Team works closely students who have limited ability to fully participate in school and life activities. The UATT website is located at UATT.org.
