Description: Programs that promote and preserve the conditions that enable community residents to live in a safe and peaceful environment through the enforcement of laws that protect life and property and the administration of justice according to the principles of law and equity. Included are crime prevention programs as well as programs that investigate and make arrests for criminal behavior; provide support for witnesses to and victims of crimes; and provide for the arraignment, prosecution and defense, judgment, sentencing, confinement and eventual release and resettlement of offenders. Eligibility: No fee. Child must be under 18 years of age to be registered.
Services Provided: Child Find of America brings missing children home. Prevents child abduction and locates missing children through investigation, photo distribution, mediation and public information, at no fee.
A location service for missing, abducted or runaway children. Will take siting phone calls. They will mediate child custody cases when a parent has abducted the children. Prevention and other materials are available at no charge.
If parental abduction, they need certified copies of the custody papers, a notarized registration form and a picture of the missing children.

•Parent Help: Child Find’s Parent Help program offers free, confidential, telephone-based services to parents in conflict, helping fragile families explore safe, legal options and available support systems. Parent Help Crisis Line: 800-716-3468
•Prevention, Education & Training: Trainings and workshops, including at conferences. Educational resources and handouts.
