Biosketch:

Nancy C. Rose, MD is an Adjunct Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center. She completed postdoctoral fellowships in Reproductive Genetics and Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She was a staff physician in the Department’s Diagnostic Imaging Center and is also Director of Reproductive Genetics for Intermountain Healthcare for 16 years. She is a past president of the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and a prior chair of the Committee on Genetics for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Currently, she is a consultant for the National Coordinating Center of Regional Genetics Networks and several other healthcare organizations. She serves on the Rare Disease Advisory Panel for the Patient Centered-Outcomes Research Institute and on committees for the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics, and the American Board of Medical Specialties and is the obstetric support for Mother to Baby Utah. Her research interests include public health issues as they relate to genetics, such as prenatal and newborn screening and diagnosis, fetal ultrasound, as well as patient and provider education.
