Biosketch:

Shawn has been a practicing librarian since 1993, after receiving her MLS from Indiana University. She specializes in Medical Librarianship, and is a Senior level member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP). As a clinical librarian, she provides instruction on accessing and utilizing both print and digital resources for both clinical and non-clinical staff, patients, and families. She performs literature searches and peer-review search strategies, and serves on several teams and committees as a resource for Evidence-Based Practice.
