Continuing Medical Education Credit - Traumatic Brain Injury

Credit: One hour of Continuing Medical Education based on the Medical Home Portal's Traumatic Brain Injury diagnosis module is available through Primary Children's Pediatric Education Services.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Primary Children’s Medical Center, and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
Primary Children’s Medical Center is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Primary Children’s Medical Center designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Then answer the 10 quiz questions with 80% or better accuracy to receive an hour of CME credit. You can follow your score by watching the bottom bar as the quiz progresses.

Quiz
These questions reflect the content of the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) module and hopefully will be helpful to the Medical Home provider as he/she considers children who have suffered TBIs
in his or her practice. Children are not just little adults when it comes to brain injury; in addition to the brain injury
itself, ongoing development may also be altered, and children will need monitoring for emerging problems as they develop.
