The NeedyMeds.com program is a free, user-friendly resource for people who are uninsured, ineligible for public benefits and cannot afford their medicines, NeedyMeds links healthcare consumers with patient assistance programs (PAPs) offering free or low cost prescriptions. Information about PAPs is access through the NeedyMeds.com website which describes the application and eligibility process. The web site also identifies programs that provide assistance for specific diseases and health conditions, state and local healthcare resource and where to go for help with paperwork. The NeedyMeds.com program is available to everyone; each PAP has its own eligibility process and standards. |
