1. English as a Second Language (ESL) - to teach the English language to youth and adults. Classes - Wednesdays, 7 p.m. - 8
2. 30 p.m. 3. After School Mentoring - A mentoring program for kids 4th - 6th grade, Thursdays 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. 4. Celebrate Recovery - A recovery program to help individuals overcome hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Ongoing classes based on eight principles that can change your life, Wednesdays 7 p.m. - 8 5. 30 p.m. 6. Computer Skills Training - Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc. Tuesdays 7 p.m. 7. AL-ANON - A support group for friends and family members of alcoholics and drug addicts, Thursdays 7 p.m. - 8 8. 15 p.m. 9. Divorce Care - A support group to find help from the pain of divorce and separation. Learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life, Wednesdays 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. 10. 180 - An outreach program to |gang-involved| and |at-risk| youth. Call Kenneth Dorrell, 654-0446, for more details. 11. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) - A program to provide free tax preparation for low to middle income individuals. The program helps clients to receive their Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The program runs from February 1st to April 15th. Call 211 for an appointment. 12. Grief Share - A support group for those who have just lost someone they love, Wednesdays 7 p.m. - 8 13. 30 p.m. 14. E78 Platinum Youth Group - A hangout group for youth based on the principles of strength, purity, and integrity. A youth room includes pool, air hockey, ping-pong, and many video games such as Halo 2, Wednesdays 6 15. 30 p.m. - 8 16. 30 p.m. (6th - 12th graders). |
