| Services Provided: | 1. New Frontiers for Families staff provides support to parents and youth with complex needs, through education, advocacy, training and peer to peer support. Staff provides a six week training workshop called |The Family Academy| designed to give parents the skills they need to be their child's own |case manager| and navigate the complex world of agency partners. The Family Academy provides training on topics including school issues, communication, mediation, family teaming, family culture, agency support and mandates, as well as services and supports available in their local community. Also available is |Common Sense Parenting.| It is an evidence based research model that comes from Boy's Town. New Frontiers Family Facilitators are professional wraparound facilitators. They have skills to facilitate family teams across agencies. Our goal is to |Empower Families to Succeed.| |
