| Services Provided: |
1. Court advocacy for victims involved in the judicial process. Advocates are available to attend court hearings pertaining to their cases.
2. Assistance with protective orders in domestic violence cases. Advocates will be available to answer questions regarding protective orders and civil stalking injunctions as well as take victims through the necessary steps of obtaining a protective order and/or civil stalking injunction. 3. Community education provided to community and/or business groups on issues of domestic violence, victim rights and prevention of crime. 4. On-scene crisis intervention; advocacy available for victims at hospitals or in their home under extreme circumstances. |
