| Services Provided: |
1. Resources - we offer resources geared towards the special needs of women and families transitioning out of polygamy. Help individuals create a plan of their own, whether it be counseling, legal aid, shelter, education, etc. to ensure participants' needs are met.
2. Advocacy - opportunities to educate the public and policy makers on the abuses of polygamy. The Justice, Economic Dependency and Independence for Women (JEDI) and the local chapter of Utah (National Organization for Women) NOW joined forces in 2003. 3. Service - opportunity to serve others in the organization through varied volunteer work and donations. Mentoring program under development. |
