| Services Provided: |
1. In-depth long term treatment program for teens struggling with drug/alcohol abuse, angry/defiant behavior with parents, school truancy & failure, sexually acting out, low self-esteem/depression/threatened suicide, eating disorders, etc.
2. Counseling & Therapy Groups - group therapy sessions to help resolve the underlying issues that are driving the negative behaviors. Daily postive peer-pressure based therapy groups for teens and specialized needs therapy groups - AA group, trauma group for victims, criminal thinking group, trust group, family group, and more. Individual or family counseling is also available. 3. Parental involvement, education, and support - parents learn and grow and support each other daily through such activities as a weekly parent support group, phone calls, quarterly parenting skills seminars, family counseling, etc. 4. Private School - Stillwater Academy is a fully accredited school that helps teen catch up if need be, have a positive and personalized learning experience, and prepare for college. Trained and licensed in special education needs. 5. A host-housing approach that provides greater accountability and support for students; an enriched learning experience for families and a more affordable option than is typically available. 6. Animal Assisted Therapy - staff employs a number of therapeutic approaches, including working weekly with horses at our Clementine Farms in Lehi. 7. Step-down Program for graduates of ours or other treatment programs where the student is staying to graduate from our school, needs additional therapeutic support or where conditions are not appropriate for them to return home for a period of time. |
