Services Provided: 1. MS clinic - located at the University of Utah Hospital.
2. Counseling - individual and group, support groups available statewide. (Counseling provided by professional mental health counselor(s).)
3. Physical and hydro therapy.
4. Financial Assistance Program - designed to help with short-term or time limited needs including such assistance as home and auto modification, Durable Medical Equipment purchase, gas or electric bill assistance, short-term respite, or home nursing care. The program does not cover medical bills or consumables. $500 maximum per person per fiscal year.
5. Education - newly diagnosed orientation, lending library, seminars, newsletters, brochures, and videos.
6. Social and recreational activities for people with M.S. and their families.
7. Advocacy.
Eligibility: Service #4: Individual(s) must be a member of the chapter to be eligible to apply and must also complete an application describing his/her need.
