1. Sports programs including basketball, tennis, golf, boxing, volleyball, etc. for young men and women.
2. Steiner West Swimming Pool - offers lap swimming, open plunge, diving, water aerobics for adults and senior citizens, swimming lessons, Water Safety Instruction (WSI), Lifeguard Training (LGT), and other water activities. Contact - 908-6231. 3. After school and summer programs for children. 4. Community awareness field trips - cultural, educational, and recreational. 5. YouthCity Artways - dance and ceramic classes. Call 535-6606 or visit youthcityartways.org for more information. 6. Intermountain Neighborhood Clinic - provides health care to children and adults living in Salt Lake County. Services include - treatment for minor illnesses and injuries; immunizations; and treatment for diabetes and asthma. Fees are charged on a sliding scale; also accepts CHIP, Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance. Call 977-0502 for more information or to make an appointment. (see separate listing) 7. Community Computer Center - free public access to computers and the Internet. Computer workshops available. Free computer multimedia youth program through the Intel Computer Clubhouse. |
