1. Promotion of professional development of child care providers through sponsorship and facilitation of training programs. Establishment of a statewide training plan and career path for providers.
2. Development of statewide child care resource and referral network for parents, providers, and the community at large. Provision of support through database development, consumer education, provider recruitment and training, and analysis for community planning. 3. Promotion of public awareness of child care issues and choices through publishing and distribution of consumer education materials. 4. Provision of information to, and collaboration with, employers who are seeking information on work and family child care options; development of partnerships for child care initiatives. 5. Technical assistance to child care providers relating to the State child care subsidy program. |
