Services Provided: 1. Camp Kostopulos - five day residential camps from June to August. Each week is designed for a different age and ability level. Activities include riding horses, swimming, ropes course, fishing, hiking, arts and crafts.
2. K Kid Adventures - after school program on Fridays (school's short day) for children ages 7-12 with disabilities. Children explore and learn about recreation and leisure skills through activities at Camp Kostopulos and in the community. September - April.
3. Teen and Adult Social Clubs - teens and adults with disabilities expand their social circles while learning how to utilize the leisure resources in our valley. Activities are offered in the evening or on weekends at least once a week. September - April.
4. Leadership Challenge - initiative trainings and high ropes course. Focus of the program is to build teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills in an environment of adventure. Program can accommodate groups of up to 100 individuals with or without disabilities. April - November.
Eligibility: Children's programs ages 7-12, residential summer camp's minimum age 7; those without disabilities encouraged to attend. Must be medically stable, able to function in 4:1 staff ratio, and must not be aggressive or a danger to self or others.
