| Services Provided: |
1. Homeless/Housing Assistance Center - provides services to assist individuals and families move from homelessness to qualifying for low-income housing and supportive services.
2. Fast Track Program - offers first time homebuyer education classes, reverse mortgage counseling (HECM), basic financial counseling, limited mortgage default intervention, fraud prevention, everyday finances, education on how to shop for consumer loans, and intervention services for credit issues. 3. Senior Life Care Program - offers free minor yet critical home repairs to low-income senior citizen homeowners and disabled families. 4. Family Enrichment Center - provides supportive services to at-risk families including educational parenting classes, life skills, and self-esteem classes for adults. Children's self-esteem, empathy, alternatives to violence, sexual assault and sexual harassment prevention classes are provided on-site at the YCC and in area schools. Free childcare services are provided on-site to families working toward self-sufficiency. 5. Victim Advocate Program (see separate listing). 6. Domestic Violence Shelter - provides 24/7 shelter and safety for up to 26 victims of domestic violence and their children for up to 30 days. 7. Domestic Violence After Care Program - supports families leaving the shelter to assist them in setting up new households in the community free from an abusive environment. Assisting with empowerment and self-sufficiency. 8. Domestic Violence Counseling Services (short-term) - offers weekly support and education groups in English and Spanish to victims and their children. |
